MY STORY

I began playing a four string tenor guitar age 5 strumming songs by the Beatles. At 6, I took Piano lessons and shortly after asked for Guitar lessons. I fell in love with music, the guitar and in particular the playing of Andrés Segovia.

I was awarded a place at specialist classical music school Chetham's in Manchester at 11 and later continued my studies on a scholarship at the Royal Academy of Music, London.

In 2014 I was First British Guitarist in 25 years to reach the Finals of the Andrés Segovia International Guitar Competition. A moment I was very humbled by. I also reached the finals in 2015.

In 2018 and 2019 I received my first guitars from the acclaimed German luthier Julian Dammann in Cedar and Spruce respectively.

I am extremely grateful to play these exact guitars, they are out of this world.

I am currently working on arrangements, recording repertoire and of course performing and teaching.
